"Mayweather" is the greatest defensive fighter i've ever seen in life...

Thats believable ,unlike some on here .Prime Tyson ,Maywether ,and James Toney i would have as top 3 ,the superior defense will always be able to stand directly in front of you without clinching and not get hit.

Mayweather is probably the best i've seen, as well as the abilities for it he also possesses the natural inclination to be defensive whereas someone like Whitaker had more of the fighter in him.

Its not about agreeing,and no not really why would I want people who I think doesn't really know much on this topic other than actually ironically Ray agreeing with me along with rightsideup on at least acknowledging Tysons superior defense at one point?Which that would be my number one pick ,I didn't list a handful like you did,and I have a very strong case for a prime Tyson as number one,its not my fault you lack the knowledge to see why that's on you I see however you are the only one who put Ali,how coincidental?


Did you figure out that the fans don't dictate who the favorite is but its the ACTUAL statistsics of the fighter...by using MATH?

This mamaluke only knows a handfull of boxers names! He actually thought that Conn was a lightweight as an adult. He didn't know Billy Conn from Billy Martin a few weeks ago. Never heard of Joe Walcott thought that Joe was Jersey Joe Walcott.
This kid is a rube he knows NOTHING he wants to stir the pot and calling Louis and Ali degrading names gives him responces, so he has a formular to get attention.
Personally I really would love to get this moron in a ring, I used to be known as a good trainer but I was also known to give a lesson or two to wise azzes!

Not sure why he's tolerated here, my guess is they want to stir the pot to keep the forum rolling. It would slow down without the kids but then again who wants to babysit?

Odds are made by professional handicappers based on what they anticipate the betting action will be. Math may factor in to their handicapping, but it is a small part of it. Mathematical statistics don't determine who will win a fight. Only simple minded people like yourself would use that as a crutch in absence of any genuine boxing knowledge. Please go ahead and try and prove otherwise. I'm confident that I know what I'm talking about.

Yea and how do you think they come to that conclusion?you really don't know what you are talking about,they cannot place action ,its not up to the casino's or bookies its on whoever the odds makers place them ,they do this through each fighter statistics and how they match up not how many fans are going for each fighter,you are like a pet rock,really...you are also arguing with someone whos been involved with bookies..etc for other reasons ive been around the betting world I should know how its run and what you descibe of,that the odds makers make the decision of who is favored based on who has more bets on their side from the bettors is dumb as it gets since they cant place bets until they put the underdog or favorite on the board which then the action is made....


P.s who said anything about if the favorite is guaranteed a win?

Your reading comprehension is almost as bad as your childlike typing. Of course the odds makers can't make a line based on how the bets come in. That is impossible. They anticipate where the money will go and establish a betting line that will (ideally) attract two sided betting. I'm well aware of how bookmaking is done and have plenty of experience ******** on sports.

This has drifted WAY off topic and I won't comment on it any further. We can return to boxing where you can try and convince everyone that a fat Foreman in his 40's was better than the lean Foreman in his 20's. Or how Tyson was the greatest defensive fighter ever and it isn't even arguable. That's plenty of great material for humor.
