Faking low blows to get rest breaks

The dude should of got "awarded" with a dq loss, not a sd loss
But Calzaghe allowed him to do this..... Hopkins did make him look amateurish

it was a very close fight which i feel Calzaghe just shaded however if Hopkins had not faked the low-blow incident then i am sure he would have got the decision, it was Hopkins worst ever performance.

No. Calzaghe took a close and deserved decision.

Hopkins won 6 rounds decisively + the KO, a really bad decision IMO

I did have him winning that fight by a point. People cannot look past his antics. Fighting dirty is unfortunately irrelevant unless the ref does something about it, same with the supposed low blows that gave him time. His comments before the fight also made Calzaghe a favorite.

I scored it for Hopkins based on the knockdown, for scoring the much cleaner blows and for controlling the first half of the fight. It's been quite a while since I've seen it though.

Hopkins was on home soil,3 american judges and a very biased referee-if you drop a split decision under those circumstances, then you know you got beat

I gave this fight to Hopkins, personally.

It was very close and I wouldn't argue a decision, either way.

Exaggerating that "low blow" was a pathetic move from Hopkins.

Could have gone either way in my opinion, but I had Hopkins ahead by 1 point because of the knockdown. 114-113.

The fight was no robbery, as B-Hop didn't do enough in the later rounds. But 116-111 on one of the scorecards was a little too wide in Calzaghe's favor.

Hopkins landed the cleaner blows and Calzaghe missed a lot of shots, but at least he was active enough to convince the judges.
