Why do you guys put fantasy fights in the boxing history chat. When there's already a boxing fantasy fight chat ?

    James Toney. Too slick.

      - - Two Ton was always too Thick around the middle and inside he thick noggin as Dave Tiberi proved to the disgust to that fight crowd.

      - In a fight where many felt that Tiberi dominated, Toney's split decision victory (by scores of 115-111, 115-111 and 111-117) prompted U.S. Senator William Roth of Delaware to call for an investigation of the sport.
      - The investigation uncovered the fact that the two judges that awarded the fight to Toney, were not licensed in the state of New Jersey.
      - Tiberi chose to retire, even though he was in the prime of his career, rather than fight again.

Probably Toney on close points but like every other time he fought a top level fighter, it wouldn't be clear or dominant and likely could go the other way.

Nunn totally dominated the first 10 rounds so no, definitely not a complete blowout.

Holyfield of course was but I'm confused as to why you'd mention Holyfield's corpse as a currently top level fighter?

              Toney.

He is not getting KO'd so negates Julian's great asset.

Such a shame the fight didn't happen. Would have been explosive.

                  - - Two Ton got beat up a lot. His sole asset was eating punches like he cleaned out chicken buckets.

Holyfield was shot to pieces, but Toney did actually beat nunns ass, Nunns wasn't dominating him, I remember the commentating talking like Nunn was in it, but every round Toney was landing nasty.

The holyfield fight was aesthetically pleasing to watch. Holyfield was a corpse though as you said. in fact, the shots he did land on Toney tell me prime Holy woulda got him no doubt.
