Lucille Cameron was 18 years old when JJ moved on her in summer 1912. Duryea was now a soon to be, twice divorced, 32 year.

Johnson put her through hell by publicly displaying Cameron to the press.

Duryea made suicide attempts but by September she was finished. Months of media about her on-going divorce and her humiliating replacement by an 18 year old teenager, took its toll.

She ate a gun.

Just four days after her death, (you know, as they say, just cold enough,) Jack Johnson stepped over her corpse an announced his engagement to Lucille Cameron. After all he no longer had to wait for the divorce to conclude. He liked that.

So even in death he treated with disregard.

To be it sounds like both of those circumstances contributed to her suicide. She was ostracized by white America for marrying Jihnson to begin with, and all alone when he left her for a younger woman. Without having gotten to deeply into this it feels to me like she felt she had no where to go and no one to help her.
