Umm not really. REspect his work as ATG at 135, but to me Floyd is weak as an ATG because he never challenged himself, never fought a fellow ATG fighter who was in his prime, Did not really dominate other great fighters... I mean I respect him, give him props, but no, not really a fan per se.

I think you are talking about the wrong division. 135 is where he got beat up by Castillo and barely got past bum Sosa.

I didn't think Castillo beat him up. Unlike most I had him winning both fights close. I though he easily beat Sosa.

No... its the right division. I do thnk Castillo won. I just look at Floyd as a fair to middlin ATG. If you get me drunk enough... I might even tell you Ward is better as an ATG... after I put the lampshade back... Certainly Jones was more of a dominant force, and imo ranks higher. Keep in mind this is an opinion. But its complicated because Floyd had as much ability and the ability to execute, as any ATG fighter at 135... I just wonder what he would do against guys who had been in real fights and had the mentality of a killer, or that their next meal would depend on them winning (Jack Dempsey, true factoid).

I picture Floyd against Leonard, Robinson, Duran, or Armstrong and I just can't see him winning.

Where is the proof of Hopkins refusing to fight Roy or Joe? Was a contract ever signed to make these fights before they happened and he backed out of them? If not you're wrong again. The lawsuit was for libel, that's the end of it. It had nothing to do with refusing fights. That is something you made up in your mentally deficient brain and are continuing to lie about. I'm just asking for proof, just like I have before. You're the one unable to defend your bull****.

Go make another scotch and soda, maybe it will magically come back to you.
            - -U fellow single digit IQ buddy up to U eyeballs in proof like two drunks propping each other up.

Ol'Days I say Floyd KOed Ingo. U scream no, Ingo KOed Floyd.

I say that is extraneous to Floyd KOing Ingo the next go round.

U scream proof, my tyny kingdom for more proof as medicine for my shakes and tremors.

I say, sorry chump, I ain't gonna enable two drunks propped up against each in their stupor. I gave U the timeline to follow where U can easily sober up, and maybe if U organic brain damage ain't too bad, U can swell U IQ to double digits.

This all well discussed in AOL days back in the day when U a tyke.

AOL must be the only place it was discussed, because you can't find a thing about your ridiculous claims on the internet. There never will be either because it never happened. Plenty of stuff to look up and the factual libel suit though, and the suit itself. And nowhere does it say Dibella sued Hopkins for refusing fights with Joe or Roy. And how can a promoter sue a fighter for not fighting someone if there was no contract to fight that person? Riddle me that, moron!!

I just read Hopkins v Dibella on Findlaw.

This whole thing has Don King written all over it . . . Classic Don King, in fact classic racist Don King me thinks.

Hopkins and Dibella seem to have had a good relationship with Hopkins advancing his career via Dibella and HBO . . . Dibella then seeks out Don King to get Hopkins the title shots he deserves - the other three fighters in the elimination tournament are ALL King fighters.

Hopkins beats them, including King's current top star Trinidad . . . But that's OK because King forced Hopkins (and Dibella advised Hopkins) to sign a multi-fight deal with King (just in case Hopkins won the tournament and titles.)

Hopkins wins the title and now enters the classic Don King move. Hopkins has the titles, Don King has him signed, so now the White guy has got to go!

Suddenly Hopkins is a legal expert on contracts and slings a whole bunch of incorrect, misinformation against Dibella, (Wonder where that incorrect information came from?) somehow now convinced the guy who helped him get his career on track, the White guy, had somehow robbed him.

In the end Dibella got screwed out of the long term relationship he was trying to build with Hopkins. Hopkins got to pay two million in damages for the ignorant and ****** misinformation he espoused . . .

. . . and Don King, he got to make money promoting Hopkins next few championship defenses . . . (and once again) got the White guy adviser out of the picture . . . at what cost to Don King? Zero!.

Classic Don King playing the race card . . . burnt the White guy, and let the Black fighter get screwed for doing it.

You summed it up nicely. The lawsuit was never about Jones or Calzaghe fights that Hopking supposedly reneged on.

Mayweather beat everyone he fought. There were no gift decisions, and Super Laszlo is a bonafide, registered, thoroughbred halfwit. Furthermore I cannot stand Mayweather. That is how ****** Laszlo is.
