Well you never admit that you were wrong about Jeffries statement regarding fighting Johnson in his prime, and you never addressed one of the would be promoters for Dempsey/Wills being Doc Krone, the biggest wrestling promoter of his time, nor the two other prominent promoters at least being willing to promote the fight for good money. NOr Tex Rickard himself claiming Dempsey was pricing himself out of a fight with Wills in the 1920's.

1. That's not Rickard saying Dempsey is ducking Wills (he says any other fighter as well) that is Rickard being cheap.

2. A year later (I assuming that is 1922 you posted) Rickard paid Dempsey 550K for the Firpo fight.

Rickard's complaint is not particular to a Wills fight.
