SES'  promotion at the Maritim Hotel in Magdeburg (Germany) went ahead as planned on December 12 but without an audience. Cruiserweight Roman Fress (12-0) won the German (BDB version) title with a knockout in the fourth over Erdogan Kadrija (16-3) Fress slipped a jab from his opponent and ended matters with a terrific right uppercut.

In the co-feature, light heavyweight Tom Dzemski (16-0) won a unanimous decision over Jihad Nasif (12-2-1) and retained the IBF Youth title.

French welterweight champ and promoter Mohamed Kani (18-2) retained the title with a split decision over Sirak Hakobyan (20-4-1) in Montpelier on December 12. Kani won on scores of 97-92 and 96-93 - and 95-94 for Hakobyan.

New School Promotion staged their second event on December 11 in Budapest (Hungary) with super welterweight Balazs Bacskai (14-0) headlining and he stopped German Nick Klappert in the second of a scheduled ten-rounder. The vacant WBO I-C title was at stake. Klappert was down three times in the second and the towel came in.

In the co-feature 37-year old veteran Istvan Szili (24-2-2) won the IBO I-C light heavy title by stopping the previously undefeated Mate Kis (17-1-2) in the seventh.

The fight for the vacant EU heavyweight title between rising French star Tony Yoka (9-0) and Croatian Petar Milas (15-0) is according to the EBU set for February 28 in Nantes (France).

Yoka's promoter, Ringstar, had first planned to stage this one during December but Tony injured his hand when he fought Christian Hammer late November.

Milas last fought in October of 2019 and became the mandatory challenger for the EU title in the summer of 2018. He has seen quite a few co-challengers come and go before Tony Yoka came along.
