Junto Nakatani (26-0, 19KOs) and Alexandro Santiago (28-3-5, 14KOs) both made weight ahead of Santiago first WBC bantamweight title defense in Tokyo, Japan, a crown he won by defeating Nonito Donaire last year in Las Vegas.
Nakatani challenges Santiago, aiming to become a three-weight world champion after previous title reigns holding the WBO’s flyweight and super flyweight titles.
Nakatani took to the scales first and weighed in at 117.5 lbs while Santiago weighed in second and came in also under the weight limit at 117.75 lbs.
Chief support to the main event, Takuma Inoue (18-1, 4KOs), defends his title against former long-reigning IBF super flyweight champion Jerwin Ancajas (34-3-2, 23KOs) with the fight between the pairing serving as Inoue’s first defense of his WBA bantamweight title.
Both fighters made the weight, each tipping the scales at 117.75lbs.
Former WBO three-weight champion Kosei Tanaka (19-1, 11KOs) faces Christian Bacasegua Rangel (22-4-2, 9KOs) in a fight for the vacant WBO super flyweight title.
Both Tanaka and Rangel weighed the same at 114.7 lbs.
