    GJC rememberance

I've received a PM that the poster GJC passed away Monday. He has been one of my favorites on this site for quite a while. He was knowledgeable, but not overbearing. Humble, but not an ass kisser. All and all, he was one of this sites classiest posters.

Rest in peace old friend, you'll be missed.

    Schocked!

    Is this irrefuteable?

If so may he rest in peace. He'll be missed.

What??? Oh my, that's such saddening news.

GJC was a great poster and a great person and a great friend. I can't believe he's passed away.

R.I.P to one of the best posters on here.

I'm going to miss him reminding me that Moore beat Johnson all those times.

Very sorry to hear this. It was a pleasure to have an older fan here who didn't act like a pompous know-it-all. He was from the UK, if I'm not mistaken. He'll be missed for sure. Condolences to his loved ones.

Easily one of the classiest and knowledgeable guys here. He will be sorely missed.

He always seemed to have a wise word when things got out hand between posters. He was a true peacemaker and a noble guy.

Condolences and kindest regards to his family.

Such sad news, I remember when he first joined, it was all new to him but he seemed to really enjoy it. He was a great poster for the history section, like others have said very knowledgeable. Something others have also mention was his class, but from his posts it was clear he had bags of it.

R.I.P mate, we'll miss you buddy.
