why is everyone saying connor didnt shake hands, they never tried to. The fight was stopped, connor was still on the ground recovering, Khabib was all riled up talking ****, yelling at connor, the ref is keeping him backed up, then Khabib walks over to connors corner, starts talking **** at them and next thing you know, he jumps the fence and rushes connor's corner. Then some guy in a red shirt jumps the fence and runs up on connor and punches him behind the head for no reason.

Plus another one of Khabibs guys already threw a punch or two at Conor just before then

fight was pretty boring and so one sided that i cant see there being a rematch. enjoyed the build up but cant say i enjoy the ground game, obviously im an untrained eye and there must be a hell of a lot of technical skill there but is boring to watch for me. as for the brawl, mcgregors team had it coming but then again khabib let himself down and should have took the high road

This was me some years ago but I appreciate the ground game now because I understand it a lot better. The side and back control Khabib had, all night, made McGregor look like a chump. To do that, for 3 out of 4 rounds, against another world class opponent is no joke. Khabib may be the best damn grappler on the planet.

And I agree, McGregor and his beer swigging crew had it coming. I do feel a bit saddened that Khabib wasnt slightly smarter about it all because he should have known the white establishment in the UFC would come down on him hard. They'll try and sack him too, take away his belt, they'll do the whole lot to him and let mcgregor pick up a vacant title.

Anyway, loved it, Mcgregot looked like he was about to cry.

Let’s see how Khabib looks after he’s been in some wars, people forget Mac has got less fights but way more mileage on him because of his style. Khabib needs a few wars before he can demand the same respect Mac can. Also, this is all great for boxing, because if Khabib is the man, that wrestling style has a small fan base, only soo many borefests people will pay for and switch back to some action, he has zero persona to sell a fight.

How fûcking boring is UFC? I watched this when the boxing was finished and it was rubbish. It was funny to see conor tap out and what happened after but the sport is rubbish. I don't enjoy watching two men on the floor for 4 minutes at a time.
