I’m not religious but even I know Conor overstepped the mark. Admittedly the guy does sound over zealous but I can’t condemn him because I’m not passionate about religion likewise some people take it personally their dad being insulted whilst others don’t.

Khabib attacked his entourage who are all trained fighters of course it’s not a way to conduct yourself but watching from afar ,I loved it. I watched the melee more times than any highlight of the fight

Props to Khabib. Boring style but he's the one of the best at doing it effectively.

McGregor should try and get the rematch to be 3 vs 3. Khabib beats him 1 vs 1 everytime but if there are groups involved it could be close as it's harder to lay on someone for so long uninterrupted before starting to fight when others can jump in.

McGregor didn't look good at all. Would like to see him vs Ferguson next if Khabib suspended to see if he's declined or if going against that style just made him overthink things and not fully commit to a lot of his shots.

Reyes was impressive on the undercard, looks like a real threat to the division. It would've been that much better if he hadn't stood off too much in the 1st as it looked to be going for an early finish.

Agreed with a lot of that, Conor looked slow, his timing was way off and he didn't look like he wanted it like in the Alvarez fight for example.

Khabib is so effective on the ground though, he saps your strength and punishes you. Mcgregor did very well to limit the damage he took on the ground early on and stuffed a few takedown attempts in the 3rd from memory, but even in the first round Conor's striking just seemed way off base.

I wonder if Mcgregor competes again and if he works his way up to a title fight/rematch? I hope Khabib isn't stripped because now we can finally have Khabib vs Ferguson (please)

Its my understanding McGregor has a six fight deal? I hope he finds the hunger. Khabib vs Ferguson will be better now that they both received casual exposure. Great comment!!

why is everyone saying connor didnt shake hands, they never tried to. The fight was stopped, connor was still on the ground recovering, Khabib was all riled up talking ****, yelling at connor, the ref is keeping him backed up, then Khabib walks over to connors corner, starts talking **** at them and next thing you know, he jumps the fence and rushes connor's corner. Then some guy in a red shirt jumps the fence and runs up on connor and punches him behind the head for no reason.

If you look closely at the video McTapout through the first punch while on top of the cage. Khabibs teammate looked as if he was about to jump out and help him when McTapout sucker punched him.
