      That sounds an incredible mismatch to me. Machida is way too fast and agile for Couture. Boring fight to will go to a decision or KO by Machida.

          Machida is gonna lose. Machida doesn't like inside fighters, especially a master of dirty boxing in Couture. With a huge wrestling pedigree.

            As bad as it sounds, that is why I favor Randy. If he comes in shape I think he can pull it off. I just hope no matter what he calls it a day after.

            btw, I thought he already retired? I know chuck just did. I thouht Randy did after the Lesner loss or did he still have one fight left in his contract?

            I think Randy Couture vs Roy Nelson would have been a good match (for Randy as a final goodbye).

            I also think when Brock Lesner does return (from medical leave) he should face Roy Nelson as a tune up.

              Where is DeltaSigChi, home boy had Lyoto as #2 P4P in the world.. Now he's facing Couture.

              Love Couture, but this is an easy win for Machida.

                Nelson can't fight in UFC right now because of contract issues and is trying out for the WWE.

                  I was assuming the issues would get fixed. I didn't hear he was trying out WWE... I guess those issues must have been pretty big. Pretty ****** since he was the "winner" of TUF and cant even fight in the UFC...

                    I second this. Couture will come in, get caught, and get finished. He's not quick enough both in movement and handspeed, not to mention the guy can't take punches like he used to. With Machida's precision it's a matter of when rather than how. It's not that Randy's rubbish, it's that he's old as fuck.
