just had to come back and rub it in.
A bit backwards there, I came in talking **** about Brock, you were the one that made it personal. Whatever, I was wrong about Carwin, I thought he could fight for more than one round. But then, he probably would have won if he had followed a better game plan and not shot his full load in the first.

Brock turned tail and ran as soon as he got hit, just like I thought he would. A lot of fights would've been stopped in the first, but I'm not complaining about the ref's actions. Shane showed he's a one round fighter. What can you say to that, neither guy impressed me quite frankly. Brock showed he could take a heavy beating on the ground, other than that he submitted what was practically a corpse, as Carwin did next to nothing in the second round.

A fight is fight, nothing is ever predetermined. That doesn't mean that I should take back all that I said before hand, and I'm not about to do so. And Brock, together with Kimbo Slice and Bob Sapp, is basically the most hyped fighter in the history of MMA, so no, I'm not about to take that one back either. Difference being that he has legit wrestling skills, which automatically transfers into MMA. Anyways, Brock certainly deserves credit for earning a win, and defending his title against a contender.

who all do you see beating brock? i mean if a fighter is overhyped, that surely means that there are several others that would beat him decisively. obviously the guy is going to get alot of attention for who he is. besides fedor, who else would beat the guy?

Anyone with strong takedown defense and good striking, i.e. Velasquez and Dos Santos basically. I frankly thought he was tailor made for Carwin, and it looked as though I was right in the first round, until Brock surprised me with his successful employment of the Homer Simpson defense. Of course, Brock's size and strength is the big X factor, but Randy Couture was able to keep him at bay with his technical wrestling, and I think that the younger, bigger, stronger, and better strikers in Cain and Dos Santos would get it done, although especially Cain due to his better wrestling pedigree, Dos Santos is more of an uncertainty. And I do think Fedor would beat him for similar reasons. I wouldn't put it past Werdum either; Overeem would have a tougher time because of the styles. Brock is a very imposing figure and has good wrestling, he is a challenging test for anyone, no doubt about it, but nevertheless, if you can stop his takedowns, your chances clearly go way way up. His takedowns are very good, but they are not unstoppable by any means.

Also, Velasquez may even beat him with wrestling.
