Interedted in fighting the winner fo this match, Wanderlei Silva gives his opinion:

- I hope I get to fight the winner.I don't how how well prepared and conditioned are are both of them, but I know that if Couture uses the same strategy that he used in their first match he will beating him again. I am rooting for Couture because I want to face him. I am hoping he comes out on top, I am betting on him.

- If Ortiz comes to Pride I would love to fight him. He is extremely arrogant and like everybody else, I also want to beat him. IN order to fight him I wouldn't mind taking a smaller purse without a problem, I would beat his ass with great pleasure.
He talks a lot of nonsense; I also talk as is part of the game, but I don't like what he says.

I would love to see Silva hand Tito an ass beating, stomps and all. Tito needs to have more faith in his stand-up abilities, he's not THAT bad. He's just afraid to get hit.

I wonder how many of his UFC matches he won because he couldn't get away and had no choice but to mix it up. Good point about Pride. If he and Liddell were in a ring instead of a cage, Chuck would've been chasing him back to the dressing room.

Ortiz has a good chance to beat Silva. People seem to forget how dominating a wrestler Ortiz is. Once you are under him its very hard to get out. Also, Tito isn't ****** enough to stand and trade with Silva. He did it with Chuck and Chuck beat the **** out of him. However I think Silva has improved enough to survive on the ground with Ortiz and blast him standing up. While its not a 100% victory like some people seem to think it would be, I think Silva would win if they fought again.

However, Silva wouldn't beat Couture. Smith Rizzo and Liddel couldn't knock Randy out and I don't think Silva will ethier. Silva won't be able to use his the thai clinch against Randy and Silva's BJJ is pretty much geared towards defence on the ground. Without submission skills from their back ANYONE at 205 is going to have a hard time winning against him. Nogueira would be interesting. Arona could be too but Arona likes to fight from the top and he wouldn't be there against Randy. Remember Arona and Ortiz were dead even in their ADCC match with only a SLIGHT edge going to Arona in pure grappling. Arona also had a lot of trouble with Dan Henderson and ended up winning because he was bigger. He and Henderson were dead even technicaly so Arona won because he was stronger. Randy is a bigger Dan Henderson.

I think in the Cage Randy would be the victor, in Pride no question Silva would knee he face off.

Knees on the ground would only help Randy. Anyone that thinks otherwise is a fool. Silva would have to fight the perfect fight to win against Randy. Brawl and Sprawl all the way.
