W. Silva comments about UFC 52 and Tito

Randy haas hit the age where he is starting to fall off, much like the Ken Shamrock of about 2-3 years ago. Randy should go ahead and retire why his stock is still high. No way anyone beats Randy in the clinch. Silva would have to fight excatly how Chuck did. Punch, move, punch, move. If Silva goes for a thai clinch he is going to end up on his back.

In the end he might end up on his back, but Randy would eat some knees as well. I also think Silva's ground game has improved enough that he could stand up or slide out and get the fight back on its feet. Unless Randy just had a horrible night, I don't see him beating the top light heavy's anymore. on a side note about the age thing, I know everyone can remember how Rizzo used to tag him in there wars and you never seen him knocked out, and now chuck suddenly KHTFO. eems to me that the big 4-0 is about the time to call it quits in MMA unless you're just doing it for exhibition shows.

The same thing with Rampage dude, every time a fighter loses you all say he is done and should quit. I dont get it. Everyone was Randy was done after he got beat by Ricco and Barnett too, then he came back and swept ufc's lhw devision.....

For the recrd I never said he was done after his losses to ricco and Barnett. I'm just saying he doesn't look like he did the past 3-4 years. He's getting old and fought a lot of fights and I just think that it is finally catching up to him. Since Tito is gone I guess Randy's your man now huh Kaps?

Not really, I like Randy, but he's not my favorite. Here you go seeing stuff again in a match that lasted 3min. Randy looked okay in the fight with chuck, he got tagged on the chin, thats gonna KO you. I say a fight between the 2 can go either way every time. Randy is by far a superior fighter than Chucky is, Chuck just hits so damn hard it brings everyone down to his level. There is always gonna be that in a Chuck Liddell fight. There are better fighters than Chuck that he could beat at any minute because of his punching power....

Knees on the ground would only help Randy. Anyone that thinks otherwise is a fool. Silva would have to fight the perfect fight to win against Randy. Brawl and Sprawl all the way.

So how do you explain Chuck tagging Rampage like he did and still got his ass whipped? Both of them were throwing bombs and Rampage somehow managed to make him squel like a pig. Then Rizzo, he hits harder than just about anybody, and Randy sure could handle his strikes as he beat him twice. My point is not to say that Randy is completly finished as a fighter, but that his days in the top 2 or 3 are over. Father time is starting to work on him.
