Rogers is amateurish, too green to fight Fedor. He needs at least 2 years of hard work to get to the top.
I think the guys who can give him a hard time are guys with great striking and good TD defense. Andrei Arlovski and Mirko Cro Cop were the closer ones. But one of them has no chin, and the other has no heart.
I see right now that the heavyweights are too slow for Fedor and aren't coordinated enough to give him trouble.
The one who could beat him is probably a technical top 3 LightHeavyweight like Machida or Shogun.

I honestly think Lesnar would beat him now, assuming his submission defense has improved vastly over the pat year.Originally posted by kswizzy99 View Postinteresting. never seen him fight. I guess someone to look out for this saturday.Originally posted by Organik View Post^^^^^
Valesquez would seem to be a good candidate to be the next top heavyweight if you believe the hype, although I haven't really watched him enough to give much of an opinion on him. From what I know about his background he's a former top collegian wrestler who excelled training at the American Kickboxing Academy. I can't be bothered to look up details right now, but he's definitely one to watch.
His best strength is ground and pound from what I saw but he doesn't have the power to finish. He can punch standing up as well but he doesn't have the power to finish and doesn't have great defense cuz he gets hit clean a lot.
He really needs to improve his submission game cuz he had MANY opportunities to submit Kongo pretty easily but he didn't.Last edited by -Swizzy-; 06-14-2009, 12:32 PM.

Barnett stands the best chance.
Then I want to see lesnar fight Fedor for the superfight aspect of it.
