    UFC is some fixed bs

    what the hell was with the forest Griffin vs Rampage decision? I'm not a huge UFC fan but I watch it once in a while (in this case an ex pride fighter Rampage)

    It seemed so fixed especially when the commentator was saying how Forrest was winning the fight in round 4, which was almost comical, forest was taking huge hits to the face and getting staggered left and right. Forrest' face is cut up and covered in blood, Jackson is unscathed.

    At least the UFC has a white champion now, it will make more money for them. *sarcasm*

    Now they need to rob Silva somehow.

    I figure this is why I watch boxing, not bar fights.

        I'm just watching UFC 86 now, so i'll see what i think of the decision.

          Page got beat. Forrest fought the better fight. In my eyes he was the busier worker. And his strikes had lasting effect.

          Griffin's kicks had far more effect than any of Rampage's punches.

          And he came away unscathed? Is that why he was limping?

          And Page did not lose because he was black. He lost because he got beat.

              NSAC owns the Judges - you just made a great argument against yourself.

              I have a hard time believing the fix theory. Judges who are clueless as to mma might be a better explanation.

                Most judges are long-time boxing judges. To them, the guy on top is winning.

                As the sport ages, there are more new judges who understand the ground game, but right now they are the minority.

                  And I thought the fight could have went to either guy. I did think it was closer than the margin Forrest won by though.

                    I agree that it was pretty much could've gone either way, though I watched the fights online with in low quality so I couldn't really tell who won. I think Rampage took Forest lightly. I saw an interview before the fight in which, when asked if his 8-month layoff would have an effect on the fight, Rampage basically said that Forrest was the right type of opponent for a comeback fight.

                    I think Rampage is definitely a better athlete and fighter, Forrest is just well rounded and he obviously works very hard, and he had a good gameplan as well.
