I honestly thought that was a piss take. In 29 years I've never heard of one single bottle coming off that pricey. Even top flight, single malt aged decades never gets passed 2k at any event I ever attended or knew of. I'd **** a brick if I saw a man spend so much on a bottle of booze as opposed to buying a fucking house or something.

we're normal people.

to us we spend a couple hundred on a bottle for special occassions and maybe $50-100 for social occassions.

there's a lot of crazy rich people out there.

i've read of cognac being sold at auction for like $100k and stuff.

You should. Screw getting hammered every single day just to say you did. Waste of money. But every so often a drink is good for you. On nights you're left with nothing to do or just need to relax, the sauce soothes the soul. That or a few beers. If you're not a college kid, in a relationship, or employed, I can't see how you don't drink. I guess nowadays it's all about gaming and such. I can't keep up with all that.

Most i spent on whisky was £350, Johnnie Walker Blue Label (King George V edition) for my dad two years ago. He hasn't opened it yet.

JW Gold label is the drink for moi. I treat myself at least once every two months of the good stuff. Chivas and Glenfiddich also take my liking, as does the JD.
