I've never been a fan of the White Album. To me; that signifies the Beatles at their worst, and yet..... it's still better than 99% of modern artists.

Really? that surprises me. To me it's one of the major accomplishments in modern music, I think it would have to be my most listened to disc. By far actually, I had it on tape as a kid and it got ruined and now on cd which is also ruined. Time to download me thinks.

I loved the White album at first, but after i took in the Beatles' catalog, it just failed.

I feel the same but about all the early stuff, up until '65 and rubber soul, I just glaze over. Their real characters came out in their music on the white album, you can really tell for pretty much the first time what was a john song and what was a paul song. Also George started to really show his full potential with while my guitar gently wheeps, which is a favourite of mine.
For me the white, has everything you could possibly want in an album, and more.
PS i'm now drunk.
