They disagreed on money. Don't know how fair the offer was but either way, he seems to spend so much time talking shit on Maidana but then says stuff like 'he needs to do more to earn a fight with me'.

It's annoying when someone trash talks a guy they aren't willing to fight. Right now from how he's talking it sounds like Ortiz doesn't want the rematch, he just wants to talk.

ehhh..... in situations like these where it's a matter of opinion on why the fight didn't happen , i'll take the guy who fought the riskier fight. khan might be better than berto but berto-ortiz was the riskier fight. i seriously think maidana thought khan would be easy because of his chin.

Plus they count everything that isn't a jab as a 'power punch'. Obviously not all of the non-jabs landed in that fight were of equal effectiveness.
