I have the entire 3 films uncut and for the life of me, I can't understand why they chose to delete this scene.

That was a good scene.

My guess is that this scene was the difference between a Family Film or a slightly Higher film classification and so it had to go.

They wanted all Audiences into the cinema to make the most revenue.
It was a family film.

It happens all the time, just yesterday Colin Firth went mental because his film got a 15 certificate, he had to protest to the board and they eventually downgraded his film to a 12A.

No doubt he was told to remove one or two scenes.
