Whatever happened to west coast gangster sht?

I grew up in the 90s when rap was good.. being from LA, i mainly listened to Dogg Pound, Pac, ********rs, old school Snoop dogg, that real G sht.

Well im in my mid 30s now and i dont know if im just old and outdated, but i hate today's rap.

That slow ass beat guys use nowadays and the slow rap sounds wack as fk and there is no skill involved.

Trap music is it called? Fkin worst style ive ever heard.

Bring the West Coast gangster sht back!!

    Any recommendation?

when has rap ever involved any sort of skill

its trashy people talking really fast about buttocks over a casio

banjo/washboard music involves more intellect and skill

Topdawg have good West coast artists
Crooked I just dropped an album last month
Kurupt released an album this year
Check out Anderson paak(Malibu album is on YouTube) dre's new West coast artist
          Obviously Kendrick
          Game
Not west coast but Royce da 5'9 dropped layers(probably the best album in a few years)
          Our era is gone
I mostly listen to old albums(dmx,Dogg pound)
Killer mike is a good artist I have recently been listening too
Styles p has an endless catalogue of mixtape stuff on YouTube(very hard, very good)

Of course there is skill involved bruh. Technique.

For example, Daz can spit.. Big Sean sounds like a fkin beta fairy when he raps.

Kurupt is the MC i agree and rhyme is important, but i like Daz' swag and delivery when he raps. Gives ya that west coast gangsta vibe for sure!
