Probably never be another "G-Funk" era type of explosion, in terms of West Coast Gangsta rap. Was a combination of talent and timing.

As far as the 90's go, it wasn't just about LA. as far as California. Acts from The Bay/NorCal were pumping out heaters. Lot's of "underground" stuff. music produced that didn't really get shine in the mainstream in regards to MTV and spins on radio stations.
