    Nonsense. Eminem has a huge black following. It's all about the flow, not the color of his skin. There are people of all races who are jealous of successful people.

    Were white people jealous of Jimi Hendrix? Sure, there was a lot of racism that was going on during that time. He was also popular around the Civil Rights movement, so race tensions were at an all time high. But the majority of his audiences were white, and many guitarists, including white guitarists idolize Jimi to this day. There are many young black rappers who look up to Eminem. Racial tensions are still around, but not as heated as the 60s and 70s. Good music was colorless back then and even more so now.

      Eminem had great potential, and then he just became a rapper with a gimmick, now he just complains about everything, and his lyrical skills have gone down as well. Last album is garbage in my opinion.

        Yeah I agree. Talent wise they guy is easily in the top 10%. Shame he didn't manage to keep it going after MMLP. Don't dig his work after that.

          I bet it is white folks that is buying Em's CDs. I won't never buy rap music that talks about living in trailer parks and getting ****d by my pops. What the hell?

          I do listen to music I can relate to so I can understand white folks buying his ****.

          The ******s that be buying Em's **** are the same ******s that buy LIL' Wayne's ****, doesn't that tell you something?!?!?!

            Em used to be the **** but Andre has been the **** since Em was working at a restaurant.

            Must we compare top 15 verses ?

            Saying Em raps about good stuff is like saying Bone raps about good stuff. While they have they're positive songs people only really like the murder **** they used to come with.

              He fell off as far as I'm concerned, he had the potential, the flow and the ability to be a great lyricist but IMO he didn't live up to it. Sure he did it in record sales but record sales aren't an indication of how good one is.

              As for envy, who cares, I bet he doesn't. There will always be people envious on ones success and there will always be the ones that can appreciate true value regardless og race.

                Jay Z? If that is the case, Eminem is an even better artist than he was. It's funny how no on talks about Hov turning into dust as his skill erodes. Eminem is supposed to be the corny one making tracks with pop stars like Rihanna but Jay-z one ups him with a coldplay feature. This is supposed to be a gangster.
