What are your thoughts on the Carter 3??

i respect wayne because i do believe he is very talented, and when he trys he really can put out some GREAT music. But i do think alot of the time his lifestyle is really what is bringing him down and is the cause for his inconsistancy. I mean i got chills when i heard tie my hands the first time. Only a few artists still give me chills.

I'm gonna sort of quote Larry Merchant on this one. Wayne puts out really good, or sometimes great, original sentences. But I still feel Kanye West puts out the best stories. The Carter III is a very good album, it has its moments, but in the end nothing really sticks out as a classic. That's what holds Wayne back from being up there with Jay-z and all of them. It's not really as deep as it could be. Still, a very good album.

My friend said everywhere he went it was sold out. Even the clear version.haha. I'm going to get it within a few days. I'm not trying to get the bootleg version cause I wanna respect Weezy and his efforts and be surprised.

Not listened to it all yet. Love Mr. Carter. One of the best tracks i've heard from wayne.
