Most likely you wont, but millions of other ppl see a bigger point and deeper meaning in the songs. Dont take what he throws out in the mainstream(which right now, downed meaning rap is the way on the radio) because thats what ppl wanna hear now, no deep ****.
Perhaps thats what the masses want to hear - though radio songs/club song success rarely has to do mainly with lyrics...

...but I think you can tell from this forum as a sample, that many people who respect the musical genre don't share that opinion. I'd be happy to hear a decent mixtape compilation if you've got a link...

SkilledBoxer likely found a link labelled Tha Carter III advance. I've seen those on a few sites though I doubted the authenticity...

If you just give up on him(his mixtapes, not mainstream) after the first song then you wont get it, gotta listen again to get that "oooh, I get it" feeling.

All decent rappers use metaphors, Wayne's just isn't that advanced. That said, he is good compared to alot of other guys in the South, but the best stuff out of the South in my opinion is Scarface and Little Brother.
