[LMAO!] Borat Movie Was Pretty Good, But

I just saw it. Very funny at times.

Funniest bit was when Borat and [alleged] 15 year old daughter crashed an austere debutante ball. When it came time for dad and daughter to dance for all, the girl said "no, papa I'm on my moon cycle." He replied "even better, the men will want you more." He was disguised as some wealthy WASP Repub type. But the only dance they knew was a Kazakhi fertility dance which was why the girl said no.

They start dancing and gyrating. Soon enough the girl picks up her dress and shows her privates. Well in their country they never heard of underwear or tampons, so it's a bloody mess. Goes on for a bit with everyone there reacting in shock and horror. Had me cracking up.

Now the end was with Guiliani. Borat's daughter plays a journalist. Rudy does grab her hip once but she had touched him on the knee. In the bedroom he does put his hand in his pants for a sec. But the truth is Borat came running in before it might have gotten to any serious point. So it's indeterminate because Cohen stopped it.

Now for the deep picture. The movie claims it was supposed to be VP Pence that was gonna get the "gift." Didn't happen for whatever reason.

Now if the PTB didn't want this to get out they would have killed Cohen or incapacitated him. Or they could have sued him and tied it up. None of that happened. If Cohen were not with the PTB he would never have been made rich nd famous.

Instead of exposing Guiliani [literally and figuratively], he stopped it to prevent that. Rudy is old and on the way out. Pence may be future President, they made sure not to go after him, despite the BS that he was the target. Maybe it even is part of Pence now claiming he's too righteous to have even met with the girl. That could be the motive for the movie and Pence's future. They're all intel agents and assets: *****, *****, Rudy, Pence, Cohen. The nature of the world alas.

So it's a funny movie, but not to be taken seriously.

I bailed out on the sequel after the first 15 mins a couple of days ago. I'll probaly give it another crack. First one was funny but this time it felt a bit tired. Maybe it gets better.

Can anyone comment on this that actually knows?

Also another thing I noticed is all the people I see from that region seem to look Asian or part Asian. But in this movie they look like greek or middle eastern or something else.

Also this movie makes fun of everyone white trash people, blacks, ***s, bo**** homeland but it never makes fun of asian people right? I don't wanna ruin the ending but it even defends Asians or China almost right? Anyone else noticed that?
Well I think many people are not getting Cohen's satire. E.g. the movie starts off with Borat denying the Holocaust and disparaging all ***s. He even finds some Holocaust survivors and interviews them. One was an older lady and camp survivor IIRC. She died after her part in the movie and her family/estate are suing Cohen for being deceived to be in a movie that is anti-semitic.

But Cohen is ***ish and maybe even an observant ***. He dedicated the movie to that ***ish woman and says she and others are not getting the satire at all.

This may be true of other groups he is being satirical about. People are taking things too literally and not realizing the message and the satire.

I gave the first one 15 minutes before I turned it off.

              Absolute trash.

Won't even bother with this one.

Last movie I tried watching was IP Man 4.

              Couldn't finish it either

cause like I said all the Khazakstaniazn people I met so far in real life look asian sorry if that offends anyone but they definitely look asian like maybe like 1/2 Russian 1/2 asian or something but in the movie they look like they from the same place Balki is from in Perfect Strangers.
True, there may be little accuracy in anything in the movie. It's just a vehicle for Cohen's satire.

I thought the first one was hilarious.

I hope the 2nd one isn't bad, I'm always hesitant on late sequels to classics or cult classics. I still haven't seen Supertroopers 2, I hope it's not a disappointment. Dumb and Dumberer was not that good.
