I think the dude who played Balki was on one of them surreal life reality shows and was like hitting on some hot 20 something year old chicks and the hot chicks didnt even know who he was or the show Perfect Strangers so they just thought who's this old middle aged man trying to hit on me??? I hope the 2nd one isn't bad, I'm always hesitant on late sequels to classics or cult classics. I still haven't seen Supertroopers 2, I hope it's not a disappointment. Dumb and Dumberer was not that good.

After a while it stopped being hilarious and went for cringe. Sometimes you have to tone it down a bit for maximum laughs.

The whole Debutante Ball...went meh from that point on.

I just saw it. Very funny at times.

Funniest bit was when Borat and [alleged] 15 year old daughter crashed an austere debutante ball. When it came time for dad and daughter to dance for all, the girl said "no, papa I'm on my moon cycle." He replied "even better, the men will want you more." He was disguised as some wealthy WASP Repub type. But the only dance they knew was a Kazakhi fertility dance which was why the girl said no.

They start dancing and gyrating. Soon enough the girl picks up her dress and shows her privates. Well in their country they never heard of underwear or tampons, so it's a bloody mess. Goes on for a bit with everyone there reacting in shock and horror. Had me cracking up.

Now the end was with Guiliani. Borat's daughter plays a journalist. Rudy does grab her hip once but she had touched him on the knee. In the bedroom he does put his hand in his pants for a sec. But the truth is Borat came running in before it might have gotten to any serious point. So it's indeterminate because Cohen stopped it.

Now for the deep picture. The movie claims it was supposed to be VP Pence that was gonna get the "gift." Didn't happen for whatever reason.

Now if the PTB didn't want this to get out they would have killed Cohen or incapacitated him. Or they could have sued him and tied it up. None of that happened. If Cohen were not with the PTB he would never have been made rich nd famous.

Instead of exposing Guiliani [literally and figuratively], he stopped it to prevent that. Rudy is old and on the way out. Pence may be future President, they made sure not to go after him, despite the BS that he was the target. Maybe it even is part of Pence now claiming he's too righteous to have even met with the girl. That could be the motive for the movie and Pence's future. They're all intel agents and assets: Trump, *****, Rudy, Pence, Cohen. The nature of the world alas.

So it's a funny movie, but not to be taken seriously.

On the surface, it seems like a private person is honey trapping an insider.

And I remember the Gary Hart scandal. Looked like he was going to be the 1988 Dem Presidential candidate. IIRC he even promised to reopen the JFK assassination--which everyone knows was done by SS Agent/Driver William Greer.
Hart was set up. The more I looked into her, it sure looks like she was an intel agency NOC agent. So Hart was toast.

Also some people are saying: No foul because she was really 23 or so, But don't they arrest men who go to hook up with a young girl, even though the L.E. agent who's setting them up is really an adult? So L.E. says if you merely think the girl is underage, you go to jail regardless of how old she really is.

As I pointed out here years ago, during his Inaugural Ball. Trump called out the 2 Clintons and said, "Let's give the Clintons a big round of applause. They're good people." On the campaign trail all we heard was Trump saying, "Hillary's corrupt, I'll lock her up."
