I have never watched GoT so i cant make a comparison but everywhere i have read says The Sopranos beats the shyt out of it

Apples and Oranges, both are completely different shows.

Season 1-4 of GOT was great, but then went rapidly downhill, whereas Sopranos was consistently brilliant all the way through.

The Wire is better than both of them doe.

Sopranos much more consistent and didn't break verisimilitude.

GOT was amazing in parts but a shocking season 8 brought it way down and tarnished what came before.

Sopranos final season hit hard with Silvio being shot, Chrissy death etc.

If GOT had ended well it would be above Sopranos but they goofed it.
