We had one in CA and it was about 40k with a waterfall.

We priced one here in NV for the same pool and they wanted 65k! I want one but I'm not ******. No thanks!

We've talked about opening a pool business here in NV. But we're going to wait until we see what happens with covid.

It was very nice and we spent a lot of time in it.

Best thing is to find a friend with one lol.

Prices will probably vary fairly drastically from state to state. Here in small town usa ( middle TN ) 20K could get you something pretty nice just by spreading the word and getting a few different quotes

Yes it depends on the state.

I owned a pool business back in Kentucky, and it's totally different there, than here in Vegas.

An "average" pool is probably a 16x32 rectangle. In KY you can get that, with all the bells and whistles; 8 ft. deep, diving board, slide, etc. for about $35,000. But pools are also built different depending on where you're from. In KY, you're likely going to get a steel wall pool (with step, the wall kit is probably $10k-$15k by itself), with a vinyl liner.

In other areas you're going to see less vinyl liner pools and more concrete or gunite. I've never built a concrete pool so I can't speak too much on the cost. But I do know that concrete is fucking expensive most places.

We're considering building a house here in Vegas, and speaking with the pool companies, it sounds like we're looking at between $40k-$50k for a 16x28. Rectangle. One level, 5 ft deep.
