To be an activist you kinda need to be on one end of a debate, not fighting for something people already agree with.

Semantics, I guess. I think they are fighting for animals.

I've seen a doc made by a YouTuber on Joe exotic over a year ago so I knew this story already and I knew this was gonna be juicy. It's going as expected.

They are, they're anti-poaching. But you just told me that there are activists who promote culling, you mentioned nothing of poaching so you made it sound like there were animal rights activists vouching for something that everyone agrees with already in a fight against no one.

I said promote culliing in certain circumstances. I didn't mention poaching because not everyone agrees poaching is terrible as there wouldn't be poachers if that was true.

So they are actively discouraging poaching and bad treatment of animals. But according to your definitions they have to be a hardcore freak to be an activist for the good treatment of animals.

Well let me break this down for you. We don't do these things out of cruelty. It is a cost effective means of producing food for us in the fastest way possible so you can stuff your fat ****ing face daily. Supply has to meet demand and if the animal is being raised for slaughter it is (sorry to tell you this) totally pointless trying to cater to its feelings. I mean at the end of it you're going to kill the things so why would we be treating them humanely? I don't know of any animals that treat their prey humanely. Get over yourself, you totally sheltered from reality, city dwelling whiner.

Again, just because they are against poaching, doesn't mean there's an activist movement asking for culling to be legalised or anything like that seeing as there are no barriers to letting people cull animals. Do you not understand what I'm saying? You're just repeating yourself and making me do the same.

                No, I don't.

                Sorry.

I think there are various levels of activism and not all are patting themselves on the back.

Most are. I'm yet to encounter what are largely leftist activists without a saviour complex or ones who exist who don't think they have the better ideas and their opponents are nothing more than brutes or ignorant fools. Also I'll just drop it on the poaching thing because firstly I don't disagree with the being anti poaching and you don't understand what I'm saying.

Fair enough, at least we can be grown up enough to do that.
