The time I got ko'd in heavy sparring when I was 16

No excuses but there was a light rain on my walk to the gym which made my joggers a little heavy.

Naturally as you might have guessed my damp slightly heavy pants tired me out.

I'd have gotten the better of him on a sunny day tho.....

I dont understand these guys that try to ko people in sparring thankfully ive never been koed but once igot knocked down (off balance mostly) by a guy who weighed 20kg more than me who caught me on top of the head.ever since then ive been able to pick up red flags on people who i think go hard as they can in sparring.

I don't get it either, the point is to practice but if they want to and I get the sense they're trying to land hard damaging shots, I'll respond in kind the whole sparring session.

I tend not to get into heated exhanges in sparring. Usually when im sparring people my weight they can feel the power and back off. Its people who have 20-30lbs on me who try to swing for me.I have a guy in my gym who loves to whoop on people in sparring all out but when its fight time and he has no head gear he ends up getting the piss beat out of him in a real fight.

You're not allowed in the gym for two months!

            After two rounds.
            Stay there, don't move.
            You out, you in
            After two more rounds.
            Stay there.
            You out, you in.
You finished sparring 6 rounds with three different fighters.
            Go finish your work out.

This is how I felt when I was walking the streets.
