I agree with you Man. I'm the same way. I wish everyone was like that!
As long as someone don't Fucc with me or my family and don't steal from me or my family then I don't give a flying fucc what they do!
But the fact is that 99% of the people who are law abiding citizens are gonna call the cops and report it when a crime is being committed.
But those people aren't gangsters, they aren't dope pushers, they aren't robbers or criminals so the street code don't apply to them.
I expect a law abiding citizen to snitch on me if I ever do a crime...
Those are just the FACTS of Life.
So fucc that piece of shet Tekashi 69 and everyone who supports his Punk ass!

The problem with civilians snitching is potential retribution. People are too scared to snitch. And if they do, they might wind up missing.

I think the Black Panthers were onto something. We need to find a way where upstanding black citizens can protect their own neighborhoods and enforce the law. Would be better if the community could financially provide for such a "police force."
How many times have we heard, "Well then, police yourselves." But when the Panthers did this, plus had breakfast programs for kids...the result was the government changed laws to restrict their legal use of guns, then tried to kill them all, then tried to manipulate the rest of them into killing each other.

Maybe if Uncle Sam can stand down, it can finally be done. But you know old Uncle Sam.

And it's not even about operating with complete autonomy. Maybe the force could even be trained by the local police force to know exactly what they can accomplish as citizens. But either way, a citizen patrol group could be beneficial in decreasing crime and protecting citizens who report crime. There would also be a buffer between citizens and the police force. Hopefully a buffer that would be treated with respect as sons and daughters of the neighborhood.

I dunno. It's no easy task, bro.

Understand this u are absolutely correct about some of your statements, but try to enter the mind of a person who is from a poverty stricken neighborhood and you’ll realize this is a normal way of life for them and they can’t comprehend that the majority of ppl live differently and this brotherhood or gang that u claim are a group of ppl who come up like u and want a better way to live. Now the way they might go about it maybe wrong and a problem to society but in most cases that’s the only way they can see progress and if a brother gets caught and tell on u that’s the ultimate betrayal because if u couldn’t take the heat u never belonged in the kitchen

I agree with Chollo but SixNine made his image via the gangs and turns around and do this.

Hyporcritical in order to save his own azz.

But at the end the community wins. Gang members go to jail and bad music stops being produced in this scenario

It's funny people around here love tossing numbers around from stats but I have yet to see anyone actually sit down and be willing to discuss the root causes and the socio-economics behind it. Now with the opioid epidemic hitting small-town America and a generation fo millennials going through their own drug plight expect the conversation to happen since it'll start affecting folks at home who have only had experiences with this stuff through the news and made their opinions based on the news. I proved this in the gun discussion thread where I asked what exactly is causing some white dudes to suddenly go on a rampage, the same folk throwing around numbers about the black community got up in arms, dodged the question, got belligerent, like what a racial topic..No it's not, it's a societal issue. The same problems that affect one group aren't always the catalyst for another. Yet all you get back is statistics..clearly, there are trends of new forms of violence in this country and obviously new factors. Hell, when Maine of all places have people talking about they can't leave their doors open you know shhh, is hitting the fan and that's not race, that's circumstance/addiction/education/resources/community. Sadly, the suburbs are starting to learn and experience some of the shh they complained about right at their front door.

What's up, Trav? Good to see you as always, sir.

This is a missed truth. There are a small number of criminals in our communities responsible for these acts of terror resulting in fear from the community.

I think the Black Panthers were onto something. We need to find a way where upstanding black citizens can protect their own neighborhoods and enforce the law. Would be better if the community could financially provide for such a "police force."

                    Great point!

Don't forget about when the Nation of Islam was single handedly responsible for lowering the crime rate in the Washington DC ******'s only for government officials to target them and remove them which resulted in crime rising again.

And it's not even about operating with complete autonomy. Maybe the force could even be trained by the local police force to know exactly what they can accomplish as citizens. Black Panthers were bringing value to the community before they were criminalized and killed. The Nation of Islam has also somehow been criminalized by white society when trying to clean our own communities.

My theory is blacks need a certain type of policing and education because our daily challenges are different than other minority groups and majority.

I think we're barely scratching the tip of the iceberg here.
