Agreed however the very term "snitching" is bizarre in this context because it implies that some random guy grooming kids into gangs, selling drugs to broken homes, etc. is on on your neighborhood team and getting rid of him is some kind of betrayal.

You "snitch" when you're in a WW2 guerrilla resistance and and reveal the name of your cell leader under torture. Because they're on your team.

You aren't "snitching" when you want the cops to get rid of a criminal who is causing harm to their own people for a profit. In any real conflict that guy would be considered the real traitor and dead upon discovery.

I have mixed feelings about the Nation of Islam. I understand their modern message is about self-determination (good) but I still don't really understand rallying under the banner of an ethnoreligion whose African slavery practices were literally thousands of times the scale of any in the West.

If you're a law abiding citizen and you live a normal life that consists of going to work and raising a family then you're expected to snitch when you see a crime being committed.
But if you're involved in the gang life and/or you're out there selling drugs, robbing people and businesses or just commiting crimes then you're expected to live by the street code and honor it!
Don't act like you're some hardcore tough motherfuccer when you really ain't!
Don't pretend to be a gangster and and be out there committing crimes but then biitch up and snitch on another man when you get busted.

Simon that's how I see it!
I expect normal decent people to call the cops when they see a crime being committed.
But people like you and me agree to commit crimes (at least we did in the past), so snitching is unacceptable for people like you and me.
So fucc that piece of shet Tekashi 69! He put himself in that position so he should accept the consequences that comes with living the lifestyle....
The fact that he's telling on everyone's in order to save himself is unacceptable! Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
