Still I wouldn’t trust Huawei phones with all my personal info.

Why would they be interested with your personal info?

If you have your stuff on cloud servers then it going to be hacked and everyone will have them anyways

Wasn't there a story about some CIA chick who got 12,000 ****pics on her computer.

It is the US, Google and Facebook that does all this stuff.

Apple is the only US company that pushes back when asked by the US to hand over personal details

Every single big company in the world is interested in your personal info.
Data makes these companies billions of dollars. And it's not just Huawei, it's every single one.

The fear with Huawei is Chinese government getting all your data and profiting immensely from it while undermining security/military protocols and using that data for espionage and other reasons.

If you have facebook, Amazon, or google accounts, that info is already out their for sale.

Google sees Huawei cutting into their profit margin hence why they made this move.

If it was a security issue they would do this to every Chinese brand and every non US brand.

Google is actually kind of pissed at Huawei because there have been past claims of them stealing technology.

I won't dispute what Google does for profit as I worked there a long time.

The plan is to stall Huawei till Google or/and other American firms get their 5G tech ready to go.

5G will be a goldmine of information.

Completely changes the game and information they will gather is like a different planet to what they get now.

I am not a fan of the trade war at all, but this was literally the perfect timing to do this, if what you say was the plan.

                    What is 6G?

5G changes the game, it not just faster, but your wifi gadgets will speak to each other instead of you.

                    The infrastructure will be everywhere.

They say if 2G was a city, 3G would be a country and 4G would be the world.

                    5G would be another planet.

Whoever gets there first will have their hands on a goldmine.

That is the real reason why the US don't want Huawei to get in on the ground floor.

It is worth billions if not trillions.

Google knows exactly what they are doing.
