Getting checked is not big deal. Just had my second exam last week and no discomfort at all.

A colonoscopy is a lot of fun. Right up there with breaking your toes on a rock. Good times!

Been there man, more times that I like to think about. My delicate lil flower been violated over and over and I been blown up like an effing balloon. They found a cancerous polyp up my ass back at the start of '17 and from then up til just before COVID hit I was in every 3 months... alternate endoscopies and full colonoscopies. Had to drink some horrible shet each time to purge and pretty much starve myself for 3 days before. Deep joy if you'll forgive the pun.

And then of course all that air gotta come out again... Lucky I don't embarrass easy and I've screwed enough nurses to know they ain't prudish... Usually have a laugh with em actually, buzzed up on the nitrous and just chatting crap whilst watching my insides on the monitor.

Seriously, though: my PSA was OK in my last test, but I never got a prostate examination.

May I ask you the reason for wanting to know how many people get their prostate examined? Just curious.

A colonoscopy is no big deal. Your knocked out completely and there are no issues afterwards unless of course they find a significant tumor. If gone twice. They found three small benign tumors that were immediately removed. The second one they found two which again were benign and were removed.

The worst thing about a colonoscopy is the prep to clean you out. The actual procedure is a non event.

Had a dozen or so... Awake through all of em. Gave us nitrous for the discomfort though... Lower colon exam was uncomfortable but bearable... Only had to suck on the N2O a couple times. After the first full Colonoscopy though it woulda taken a prybar to get the nitrous hose outta my mouth. Felt like I was twisting up inside. Funny though, ain't like you get used to it but some times were worse than others.
