I've never thought about being proud of my skin color. Seems odd.

I don't think anyone has an issue with someone that is proud of who they are, regardless of race.

The problem is the people that think they are better than other because of their race and the people that hate others that are different than them.

I mean we all know the difference between guys like Battling Nelson and BostonGuy, who are proud of who they are, with guys like 1bad65 and freedom, right?

I'm not real big on being proud of things you have no control over. Being proud about your own accomplishments is more important to me.

You can't say I was born American. I did that. I chose that.

You can, however, say that I earned the promotion. I did that. I'm proud of that. Or I married a great woman. I got her. I made that happen. I'm proud of that.

Maks more sense to me but to each their own of course...

If you're other than white, the answer is Yes.

In fairness, a good thing that stood out to me from the video was the sportsmanship 1bad showed. You could tell his main goal was to get better.

I don't share that virtue. In both the ring and in life, I'm very emotional. I've taken my life losses as a teacher pretty hard, but I'm finally moving on. I will wait this thing out until I can start over in physical labor somewhere!!!!!!
