It sounds good and I'd like to try it.

Like how high a flame, how long to fry it, etc.
I don't know if you have check or not but Youtube has a variety of cooking videos with specific info. Sometimes I just like to chill and watch a bunch of them.

My gas grill and oven have gauges on them telling me the temps. The stove burners do not.

I really want to try this one, but I dont want to screw it up.
well fry it inside and get a temp needle or go get a cheap fryer for $30 at wal mart. Good investment.

Thx. I do that for car repairs and home repairs when I need help.

In this case, I don't have much experience with types of fish as well, so I like answers with that info too. The nearest store to me has a large fish market, so I have alot to choose from. I'm just pretty ignorant on how they taste and such so I dont want to buy cluelessly.

I can do research, yes. But I prefer firsthand advice from folks here that I've gotten to know. Alot of guys here eat good, so I figure I'll get good advice. I've already gotten a couple recipes I'm going to try.

I have a temp needle, but I didn't know I can put it in oil.

I use it to check internal temps on meats.

I do not have a fryer.

lol well the temp needle is stainless steel right? Yeah bro just get a bigger pot fill it with a couple inches of oil and put the heat on low. Make sure it does't exceed like 450 because that shiiit can catch on fire thats why I say its easier to get a cheap fryer

It doesn't have to be exact. Just make sure the oil is hot enough to cook with but not too hot to burn your food.

              Thx for the advice.

Yeah, I've found olive oil has a low flash point. I use avocado oil on the grill as it has a much higher one. You cant taste the avocado, so it's good.

Sorry I try and be so precise. I'm an engineer, and all too often that way of thinking rolls over into other areas besides work.

Some good Salmon videos makes me hungry just watching

When I deep fry the salmon I dont put any batter, I just fry it up with some salt and pepper and garlic herb sauce. the outer skin will get nice and crisper and has flavor and the inside is tender and juicy I use some lemon on top after and Ill eat it with Rice its super delicious.
