I know we disagree politically, but we've had productive conversations on a variety of issues in the past and, judging from those conversations, I thought you were a better human being than to stoop to the ********** tactic of baseless attempts at character assassination.

That's how I became one. I was never interested in politics but started to notice guys on the internet would always accuse people of "********** tactics" at the most cringe-worthy moments and started to notice familiar patterns. Reminding us what year it is, because our views need to adapt to annual shirts in the herd. Reminding us that we might very well be white! Or male! because their opinions are inferior. Etc etc etc. Eventually you get so annoyed that you look up the ********** platform and realize they're cool and logical people besieged by lunatics.
