What made you join Boxingscene?

Im pretty sure this thread has been done before but im just curious as to why some of you guys made an account. Was it this particular forum that caught your attention or just wanted to make a troll account?

For me, i had this boxing app that had different boxing websites for news. I would sometimes come here and see the news. Then i noticed the hilariously ******ed comments and annoying bigots. After a couple months i was just like fu ck it. Im not really on social media but this seemed pretty good to join. I dont regret it.....so far

I had the same app and after reading espn, yahoo and other websites for a couple months i noticed people actually new what they were talking about on here (some people lol). Used to just read comments but after a couple years i signed up.

I remember reading a comment so catastrophically ****** that it encouraged me to sign up just so I could respond to it. I don't even remember what it was though, I'm not even sure if I ever got around to replying to it.

how did you find the site?

Ah... well I was over on Kung Fu ****zine forums before I came here. What I tend to do is accompany when I'm training with a forum to you yknow share viewpoints and training methods based upon what that is.

Have no idea how I ended up on the lounge though

Came in after Bute-Pascal got me back into boxing. Lucky for me, it was still in the aftermath of Broner/Maidana, so I learned a lot quickly about what had happened since 2009.

I signed up a long time ago, but never posted. It was gross ******ity and my desire to interact with younger guys that prompted me to start posting.
