Fights this side of the water tend to happen on a night out (either in or outside bars, clubs etc), generally it's groups of blokes out with their mates. No one is going to watch their mates fight without getting involved at some point. Protracted 1 on 1s are fairly rare.
Granted, you might be from some rough hole where people street fight with their own mates in daylight, I tend not to frequent such vicinities.
i have a feeling you guys are more fair play, mano e mano over there.
that happened a couple of mates of mine on different occasions, one guy just walked on (lol) and the other guy ran. Why didn't you just run? If someone pulls a knife out, I'm not hanging around to see what he has to say or second-guess his level of intent.
lol yeah not exactly my proudest memory of decision making under duress. He had a bike which siked me out of running, although in retrospect this wasn't a personal thing so I doubt he was gonna hunt me down.
assuming uve tried to avoid fighting at all at all cost, u have no choice but to throw them hands.
do you slap or do u punch?
100% Violence of action. Hit first, straight left to the neck, knee or kick to the balz, take him down and arm bar and break that mother***er or turn him and put a massive choke hold on him until it passes out.
No quit, no mercy, no hezitarion, you must go from 0 to 100 on less than a second.
If you attempted to defuse the situation and the other fellow didn't want to defuse, then *** homy up.
i'm a short guy. the handfull of fights i've fought have always been againt
guys a lot bigger. my equalizer has been to start things off with a quik kick to the shin. i wear motorcycle boots.
It's a street fight, then I'll do whatever it takes to get back home safe. Most streets fights past high school aren't the ceremonial man vs man, meet me in the grocery store parking lot at 3pm type of event. They're usually spontaneous, dirty, and rough, with tempers running high and happening in the heat of the moment (usually alcohol is involved). I've sucker punched, hit a guy with a flash light, had a dude come close to chocking me out when he crept up on me sitting at a bar (friends jumped in), cracked a guy in the ribs with a rock, fought off a few guys with a lawn chair (lol), have been jumped outside of a Mexican restaurant, and have even ran the hell away and hid in somebody's backyard from two guys who chased me with bats. The best bet is to not fight, but if you must, hit first and hit hard, grab something to protect yourself, or hope your friends jump in for you if you start getting pummeled.
