Depends on what you like and what interest you have. California is huge and has a little of everything for everybody. Beaches and Craft Beer: San Diego. You like wine, Napa. Want to see an awesome city with the best restaurants, San Francisco. Are you a douchebag hipster? Go to LA and head to Silver Lake. Like the desert, want to see some cactus, go to Joshua Tree. Are you gay? Head to Palm Springs.
Seriously though, your question is to broad. Tell us what you like to do and we can tell you where to go.Last edited by racer59; 11-17-2014, 10:52 AM.

If you have time, go skiing out at Squaw Valley, visit some national parks. Visit Yosemite, could go see the biggest gawdamn trees on the planet over in Kings County and Redwood National Park, take a drive along the PCH and see the coast.
California is pretty large and very diverse.

i drove from the bay area to lake tahoe in late march. it was one of the best drives of my life. incredible, incredible place. we went from the pacific ocean [which i'd never even seen,] to 7,000 mountain passes, 10,000 foot summits, and world class skiing in four hours.
