The only dude I really had a problem with was the guy walking right next to her for several minutes. Weird guy, but it is NYC. You can definitely find a weirdo walking around for 10 hours.

How would this ***** feel if she gained 100lbs and not a single man cat called her?
I bet she'd feel like ****ing **** and miss it.
*****es are ******ed, man. She's complaining about men being attracted to one. One single guy harassed her, the guy who followed.

Originally posted by El-blanco View PostNow I'm actually seeing this ****** video on the news websites. Wtf? They say she was being harassed, not one guy said more than a few words, no one hounded her. What a ****** *****.
Now let's discuss the video. First the problems I have with the stunt itself:
She edited down ten hours of footage to make a less than two minute video showing harassment. Obviously she's going to highlight the most egregious examples because two minutes of people just ignoring her as they go about her business wouldn't exactly be newsworthy. You're seeing a sample of behaviour exhibited and the sample has been chosen to be the most outrageous.
Second the harassment is coming from a couple of specific demographics. Firstly it's coming from poorly educated young people and second it's coming from impoverished adults. In other words the sort of people who are catcalling her in the video are young men that haven't reigned in their impulse control and older men who probably never had any.
If you wanted to actually study these effects you could probably produce an experiment to overcome the sampling bias. You would have to get a number of different subjects both male and female to go to different areas and register the number of unprovoked interactions with strangers with use of a counter. Each incident would get a press of the counter. Each person would video their interactions so the data can be verified and the results could be put into a graph and subjected to statistical tests.
That's why I'm referring to this video as a stunt. It has very little worth as a demonstration of how women are treated on the street by strange men, though it will be declared demonstrative by the patriarchy circles.
I would like to see a male walking through a similar area demographically and make the same sort of comments to the men who were catcalling. I wonder how Mister Creepy Walker and Mister DYAAAAAAAMN and Mister Thousand Dollars would react to the exact same unwanted attention.

Attention seeking slag.
Write that down, mail it to yourself, open it on Christmas day and she'll still be an attention seeking slag.

Well men pursue women. How are you suppose to meet some girl in the street.
Most of the comments were not even offensive. A couple of dudes were straight up weird. Most girls like attention anyway so I don't know what is her point unless she is a lesbo. I bet you if the men look like movies stars she would not had been complaining.
She has a very curvy body and she wore very tight close to have the desired effect. Let her do that same thing with a loose dress to see if she is going to get the same reaction. The video starts saying that she only has jeans on and a t-shirt but forgot to mention how tight it wasLast edited by TOBYLEE1; 10-29-2014, 07:45 PM.
