      Different cultures eat different things so I have no problem with it. There are numerous foods that Americans eat that other cultures might find disgusting.

          My natural reaction is that it's horrible, because dogs are wonderful animals. I think this is the perfect example of a difference of cultures. In most of the world, dogs are viewed as pets and an extension of the family even. In China, and other east Asian countries, they're viewed as food. The conditions are horrible for those dogs, but for chickens locked up in a farm, I'm sure they're pretty horrible too. But then, are chickens even capable of feeling miserable? Dogs certainly are.

              Pigs are more intelligent than dogs. Just because we decided to domesticate an animal doesn't make it any better than slaughtering and eating pigs.

              I remember making a girl cry when she tried to argue with me about Mike Vick being a terrible person while she was eating bacon.

                    Really when you think about it, why not eat dog? If that's what you want to eat then so be it, I just don't see how tasty dog can really be.

                    I know there's cultures that eat horse, and it's supposedly delicious.
