Jefferson Airplane's Surrealistic Pillow and After Bathing at Baxter's are all-time classics. "Jefferson Starship" was atrocious, and their most famous song sucks big time.

But none of them are as great as The Beatles in terms of producing albums.

For an alternative view, this article should be of interest to all of you. Incidentally it mentions my man Buckley. I agree with what he says about early 60s Beatles, but I do think they evolved into a different beast by the end of the decade.
