Rolling Stones
Byrds
Zombies
Tim Buckley
Jefferson Airplane

But none of them are as great as The Beatles in terms of producing albums.

For an alternative view, this article should be of interest to all of you. Incidentally it mentions my man Buckley. I agree with what he says about early 60s Beatles, but I do think they evolved into a different beast by the end of the decade.

the beatles were definitely a pop band when they first started out. i'm sure they pulled tail, and i know they all got rich as hell, so i ain't mad.


later period beatles have some good albums, doe. sgt peppers and revolver are my favorites.
