The man shouldn't have been tried nevermind convicted.
It was his house and he protected it, end of story.

That they say it was premeditated, does this mean that anyone with a gun in their house will now be accused of premeditated murder for shooting a burglar?

As far as luring goes, just by parking your car away from your house is not factual evidence for luring.

I hope this man wins his appeal and is free to go about his life.

After he shot someone twice in the chest.. and incapacitated him/kid was possibly dead.. he then shot him in the face.. Then he shot a girl once.. dragged her down and executed her after his gun jammed..

He should have shot them and called the police..

I am confused by the laws in America though.. if someone breaks into your house can you shoot them? and if they die will you be charged? obviously this guy did a lot more then that..

It was definitely premeditated as far as I can see. He sort of lured them in. I mean they got what they deserved, but he did it all in a bad bad way. One slime ball off to die in jail and 2 other slime balls 6 feet under.

Man that nut recorded his feelings after he shot them. He didnt tell the police til the next day. Also, he let them bleed out for several minutes til he "finished" them off. He's guilty.

The USA isn't like Europe, from what I know. Each state has its own law when it comes to situations like this. Where I live (California) you can't legally shoot someone because they're on your property. Lethal force is only allowed when someone threatens your life, not your property. I have no idea what the laws are in Minnesota

I'm cool with him killing those kids for breakign in. They get no sympathy from me for breaking into another persons home and getting the wrong end of breaking into a crazy guy's home.

I guess they're arguing over it being premeditated or something.....like he was going to kill them for breaking in even if they put up a fight or not. I haven't listened to the audio recordings yet....but hearing that he made people cry and it sounded evil or something

What they were doing was wrong, and they deserved to be punished, but not murdered. If he indeed shot them, then executed them, he needs to spend the rest of his life in prison. Dragging someone down to a basement, after you've shot them, then killing them is just sick. You have to be pretty fucked up in the head to just kill someone like that.
