Colbert has made a career out of playing a tediously unfunny conservative caricature, reminiscent of the vile blackface routine that thankfully ceased to be considered acceptable behavior a half century ago.

The entire genre went downhill once Arsenio left the building....

Putting Colbert and Ferguson back to back seems like a bad idea to me. They both rely on that dry, almost deadpan sense of timing.

Really Jeffries? So Colbert impersonating Bill O'Reilly is equal to the racism perpetrated by whites when they would done black face?

Jeeezus ***in Christ man, how in the ***in world do you equate the atrocities and pain that slavery and racism has caused to Colbert impersonating Bill O'Reilly?

Oh and by the way, it's ***in hilarious. He is a master at making fun of the right, and sounding like he is from the right. Colbert and Stewart have been thorns in the side of ************* for years now. They have single handily crushed ************* and made a mockery of them exposing them to everyday Americans.

Good point. I like the choice of colbert over chris rock even though I think both would've done a good job.

Newsflash to you: Everyday Americans are more likely to be libertarian or centre right. We are a centre right country.

You totally reacted the way a right wing bigot would. You had the same reaction to this news as rush limbaugh did.

that's changing and in a couple of decades or even less, america will be center left.

i mean gay marriage already is on the way and so is marijuana legalization.

the days of america being center right are dwindling.

                      dwindling fast.
