A nice hybrid of the two could work nicely, there are certain decisions you don't want average people in charge of and its better if reps work all of that out but its never going to be perfect.

There exists a hybrid of the two, and it's called a mixed economy. Most industrialized states utilize some type of a mixed economy today, including the U.S. And socialism does not equal tyranny.

What we have here in the U.S works fine, its not perfect so everyone over exaggerates when its not unicorns and rainbows all of the time but its designed by imperfect people so I think we are doing pretty well all things considered.

I live in Belgium. A very socialist country. Pretty everyone here is a socialist. Even the people who think they arent socialist are actually socialist. Lucky for me I cant think for myself
