As I said previously, religion and science do not compare. The only reason they get put together is one is a very primitive way of understanding the world and the other is a tried & tested method of understanding the world.

It's just the primitive one has filled in more blanks than science, wrongly or rightly - but that doesn't matter to you. Just as long as there is something there...

I agree, they don't compare.

My point is people reactions and responses to science, they put their faith in it, they think it is the only way, they try and convert others, top scientist are like their priest and science journals their bible.

I'm not anti-science, science has done some good things, it has also contributed to the very bad.

What I dislike is people's unquestioning faith in science that gives them such an narrow outlook on life and leads them down the wrong path.

Science can only broaden your path in life. You have a fundamentally wrong approach. Since when did science give you a narrower outlook? Makes no sense.

Science is a process for the increasing of understanding while minimising the effect of individual bias.

It's the fact that you don't even understand what science is or what's to be expected of it that is the problem.

Science pass of a lot of things as facts, which are wrong, or found out to be wrong at a later date.

Theories are always open to change if new evidence is found.
